Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was great! The boys were the perfect age! They were so excited for Santa to come. We have a calendar that you move the candy cane each day until Christmas eve. Ryan would wake up every morning and move the candy cane! On Christmas eve morning we got up and hiked up North Mountain with Pa. Ryan and Sean both hiked up by themselves and we made it up in time for the sunrise. It was a beautiful sunrise! Christmas eve, Santa and his elf were up until 2am putting together toys, book shelves, and toy boxes. The boys slept in until 7:30, then there was no holding them back! Santa ate the m&m's and drank the milk we left out for him. He also used the towel placed outside the fireplace to wipe his feet so he didn't drag soot through the house. The boys loved their toys. It was a great Christmas!

March2008

Well, March was a very busy month for us..... Baby Sean turned 2 years old. He is not really a baby anymore. He is running and talking and holding his own against his brother! Ryan is riding his 2-wheel bicycle - without any training wheels! My two boys are getting so big!!

In March we took the kids snow skiing. There is a little hill outside of Williams, AZ that was perfect for the first time 3-year old skier. Ryan had a great time. He was really getting the hang of it by the end of the day.

San Diego Weekend

Well, we are still new to this blog thing......so hang in there. The postings may be few and far between, but I'll try to keep up. This past weekend we went to Palm Springs and San Diego. Great time! Cool weather (anything seems cool compared to the 115 highs in Phoenix) and nice beaches. We spent 2 days sitting around the pool and at the beach. The boys loved it!

Happy Birthday Baby Sean!!

Sunday was Baby Sean's first birthday! He is getting ready to walk....actually, I think he is going to skip walking and go directly to running. Ryan has enjoyed Sean's birthday more than Sean. Ryan was a big help...."helping" Sean open his presents. Pictures will be posted soon.

Happy Birthday Pa! Today is Pa's 80th birthday. The grown-ups took Pa up for a hot air balloon ride.
